    I think Ive told the story on this walnut before . But just to refresh ,...I bought a couple hundred board feet of this wood from an elderly lady in her mid 90s. She told the story of how her brother and her,.. rode on the logs (she was 4 yrs old) as her uncle led the horse's to the house.
It has about 6 different colors in it .

JD, Excellent work! And thanks for the short story about the woods history. I wish all our woods came with a life story. It makes using them so much more intresting. Just to think 90 years ago a little girl sat on that log as her Father pulled it out of the woods, and today, almost a century later its making music! That is so cool!
